Clutter FreeStatus: Free, limited edition Download: ClutterFree.exe Last Modified: July 5th 2008 PurposeRemove clutter your computer. Originally, the software was writted to address the issue of growing global profiles in a Windows Domain. The number of files is more significant than the size of the files during logon. Profiles passing the 800 file mark were slow to transfer during logon, and even more so on WiFi. However, it also helps address the issue of disk space shortage and bloated backup tape sizes.TechnicallyGoes through every profile in C:and Settingsexcept All Users, Default User, LocalService and NetworkService. For each profile, it removes empty directories, old links, old temporary files, old cookies, and other pieces of gravel it finds. It also goes through the C:directory, removing KB*.log files and Uninstall directories older than 14 days. LimitationsThis is a limited version of Clutter Free Enterprise. The limitations is that it does not support switches and there is only a built in configuration. There is, however, no nagging and no time limits. You may use it as much as you wish.
